Stephen Thompson, Jr. scored 26 points (12 of them on four three-pointers) and dished out six assists on Tuesday night as the Oregon State Beavers (5-3) held off the visiting Eastern Kentucky Colonels (4-5) 74-62.
Tres Tinkle added 21 points, eight rebounds, five assists, and three steals to the Beavers' coffers as Oregon State equaled their victory total from all of an injury-plagued 2016-17 campaign.
