PENGUINS SCORE LATE TO FINISH OFF PREDATORS, BECOME FIRST TEAM SINCE '97 AND '98 RED WINGS TO WIN BACK TO BACK STANLEY CUPS; SID THE KID WINS CONN SMYTHE TROPHY AS PLAYOFF MVP

At Nashville:

Patric Hornqvist (tht's him wearing #72, seen here celebrating after scoring) and Carl Hagelin (empty netter) each scored a goal in the final two minutes on Sunday while Matt Murray saved all 27 shots as the Pittsburgh Penguins blanked the visiting Nashville Predators 2-0 to capture their fifth Stanley Cup overall and their second straight after winning the Final four games to two.

The Penguins became the first team since the 1997 and 1998 Detroit Red Wings to repeat as Stanley Cup champions.

For the second successive year, Pittsburgh captain Sidney Crosby won the Conn Smythe Trophy as playoffs most valuable player.
