Robbie Keane (7') and Gyasi Zardes (11') each delivered an early goal on Saturday as the Los Angeles Galaxy ended the Portland Timbers' nine-game Major League Soccer unbeaten streak with a 2-1 road triumph.
Zarek Valentin scored for the Timbers in the 41st minute.
The Timbers will try to get back on track on July 13 on the road at Kansas City, Kansas against Sporting Kansas City (11:00 AM Pacific Time, FOX).
