NBA Playoffs: Pacers, Spurs, Heat, Thunder Open With Wins

The four remaining opening-round series in the National Basketball Association playoffs got under way on Sunday.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Indianapolis:

Paul George scored 23 points, grabbed 11 rebounds, and dished out 12 assists (his first career triple double) as the Indiana Pacers got the better of the visiting Atlanta Hawks 107-90 in game one of their conference quarterfinal series.

At Miami:

A 27-point, 10-rebound, 8-assist performance from LeBron James along with 20 points off the bench from Ray Allen carried the Miami Heat to an easy 110-87 series-opening home win over the Milwaukee Bucks.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At San Antonio:

Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker each scored 18 points as the San Antonio Spurs defeated the visiting Los Angeles Lakers 91-79 in the opening contest of their first-round series.

At Oklahoma City:

Kevin Durant scored 24 points as the Oklahoma City Thunder opened their conference quarterfinal series with a 120-91 blowout win over the visiting Houston Rockets.
