Quarterback Tajh Boyd completed a 26-yard pass to DeAndre Hopkins on a fourth-and-16 play late in the fourth quarter, setting up Chandler Catanzaro's game-winning 37-yard field goal as the Clemson Tigers (#14 in the Bowl Championship Series standings and the Associated Press poll, #13 in the USA Today/Coaches poll; 11-2) capped off their first 11-win season since their national championship campaign of 1981 with a 25-24 victory over the LSU Tigers (#8 in the BCS standings, #9 in the AP poll, #7 in the coaches' rankings; 10-3) in Monday night's Chick-fil-A Bowl.
