NCAA: Yellow Jackets And Spartans Advance; Buckeyes and Terps Too

More action from Friday in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament.

MIDWEST REGION:

At Milwaukee:

Gani Lawal scored 14 points as tenth-seeded Georgia Tech knocked off #7 Oklahoma State 64-59.


Second-seeded Ohio State defeated #15 UC-Santa Barbara 68-51. Jon Diebler scored 23 points while Dallas Lauderdale grabbed 12 rebounds and blocked a career-high eight shots for the Buckeyes.

At Spokane, Washington:

Kalin Lucas scored a career-high 25 points as fifth-seeded  Michigan State won a tight contest, 70-67,  over #12 New Mexico State.

Fourth-seeded Maryland defeated #13 Houston 89-77.Terrapins freshman forward Jordan Williams scored 21 points and grabbed 17 rebounds.
