In the opening contest of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, Allen Smith scored 14 points and connected on a pair of three-pointers as Arkansas-Pine Bluff defeated Winthrop 61-44 Tuesday night. The Golden Lions, who picked up the Southwestern Athletic Conference's first NCAA tournament win in 17 years, will face Duke, the South Regional's top seed on Friday in Jacksonville, Florida.
