Stanley Cup Playoffs: Habs Top Sabres To Lead Series 2-1; Ducks Even Series With Golden Knights At Two Games Apiece

Two more Sunday games were played in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.


 EASTERN CONFERENCE:  


At Bell Centre, Montreal:  


The Montreal Canadiens, with two power-play goals (one each from Cole Caufield and Juraj Slafkovsky, both taking place in the second period), defeated the visiting Buffalo Sabres 6-2 to take a two-games-to-one conference semifinal series lead.  


Alex Newhook scored twice for Les Habitants.


WESTERN CONFERENCE:


At Honda Center, Anaheim, California:


Bennett Sennecke (power play), Mikael Granlund, Alex Killorn (power play), and Ian Moore each scored once as the Anaheim Ducks leveled their conference semifinal series with the Vegas Golden Knights at two games apiece after their 4-3 home victory.
