At T-Mobile Arena, Paradise, Nevada:
Mark Stone and Cole Smith each contributed a goal while goalie Carter Hart saved 20 of 21 shots on Tuesday as the Vegas Golden Knights defeated the Colorado Avalanche 2-1 and completed a four-game sweep of the Western Conference Final.
The Golden Knights will play in their third Stanley Cup Final against the winner of the Carolina-Montreal series (which the Hurricanes lead two games to one).
Vegas lost the Final to Washington in 2018, but won it in 2023 over Florida.
The Final will take place in June on ABC-TV with date and time to be determined. The series will open at Montreal or Raleigh.
