In the lone NBA Playoff Tuesday contest, Victor Wembanyama scored 27 points and pulled in 17 rebounds as the San Antonio Spurs upended the homestanding Minnesota Timberwolves 126-97 in game five of their Western Conference semifinal series.
The Spurs, now up three games to two, can close out this series with a game-six home victory on Friday at 5:00 PM PDT on NBC and Peacock.
