In the opening game of the College Football Playoff's semifinal round, quarterback Joe Burrow threw for seven touchdowns (all in the first half; four of them to Justin Jefferson) and 493 yards on Saturday as the LSU Tigers (#1 CFP; 14-0) throttled the fourth-seeded Oklahoma Sooners (12-2) 63-28 in the Peach Bowl to advance to the January 13 championship game in New Orleans.
