Quarterback Steven Calver threw for 308 yards and a pair of touchdowns as the Liberty University Flames (8-5) held off the Georgia Southern Eagles (7-6) 23-16 in Saturday's Cure Bowl.
The Flames were victorious in their inaugural bowl game.
