Sooners Hold Off Beavers In Phil Knight Invitational
At Portland, Oregon:
Kristian Doolittle scored 19 points and grabbed 16 rebounds on Tuesday night as the Oklahoma Sooners (3-0) held off the Oregon State Beavers (2-1) 77-69 in the finale of the Phil Knight Invitational.
Tres Tinkle paced the Beavs with 18 points while grabbing ten rebounds.

CFP Semifinal: Dawgs Pull Off 2OT Rose Bowl Victory Over Sooner

In the opening semifinal of the College Football Playoff on Monday, running back Sony Michel ran 27 yards for the game-winning touchdown in overtime as the third-seeded Georgia Bulldogs (13-1) defeated the second-seeded Oklahoma Sooners (12-2) 54-48 in the first-ever Rose Bowl game to go into overtime.
The victory sent the Dawgs to next Monday's CFP National Championship Game in Atlanta.

In Saturday's West Regional final of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament, Buddy Hield, who was named the Regional's Most Outstanding Player, scored 37 points (24 of them on eight three-point baskets) as the second-seeded Oklahoma Sooners (29-7) locked downed their first Final Four appearance since 2002 by throttling the top-seeded Oregon Ducks (31-7) 80-68.
Elgin Cook paced the Ducks, whose eleven-game winning streak was snapped, with 24 points.

Quarterback Deshaun Watson threw for a touchdown and ran for another while accounting for 332 total yards as the top-seeded Clemson Tigers (14-0) erupted for three second-half touchdowns on Thursday as they routed the fourth-seeded Oklahoma Sooners (11-2) 37-17 in the Orange Bowl which was the opening semifinal contest of the College Football Playoff.
The Tigers will face the Alabama-Michigan State winner in the National Championship Game, to be played at Glendale, Arizona on Monday, January 11.
