At Corvallis, Oregon:
Quarterback Darrel Garretson ran 16 yards for the game-winning touchdown in overtime as the Oregon State Beavers (2-3 overall, 1-1 in Pac-12 play) blew a 17-point fourth-quarter lead, trailed briefly in overtime, then bounced back for a 47-44 home victory on Saturday over the California Golden Bears (3-3, 1-2).
Beavers running back Ryan Nall ran for 221 yards (almost half of the 474 rushing yards, a school record against a Pac-12 opponent) and three touchdowns (4, 80, and 5 yards).
The victory ended Oregon State's 12-game Pac-12 Conference losing skid.
