MLB Playoffs: Blue Jays, Indians Take 2-0 ADLS Series Leads, Can Advance To ALCS With Wins On Sunday

The Major League Baseball playoffs continued on Friday with four games, two of them in the American League divisional playoff series.

At Arlington, Texas:

Kevin Pillar, Ezequiel Carrera, and Edwin Encarnacion each hit a fifth-inning home run as the Toronto Blue Jays held off the Texas Rangers 5-3 on the road in game two of their divisional playoff series, which the Blue Jays, who now lead two games to none,  can finish off with a game-three win at home on Sunday.

At Cleveland:

Corey Kluber pitched 7+ innings of shutout baseball as the Cleveland Indians blanked the visiting Boston Red Sox 6-0 in the second contest of their divisional playoff series.  Lonnie Chisenhall slammed a three-run homer off Boston starter David Price as the Indians, who now lead the series two games to none,  look to finish off the Sox (and David Ortiz's career) on Sunday in Boston.
