Erin Moran, the former child actress best remembered for her portrayal as Joanie "Shortcake" Cunningham on the ABC Network sitcom Happy Days (1974-84) and its' short-lived spinoff Joanie Loves Chachi (1982-83), passed away on Saturday at age 56 at Harrison County, Indiana.
"Shortcake" was a nickname given to Richie Cunningham's kid sister by Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzerelli.
