Fanendo Adi Becomes Timbers All-Time Leading Goal Scorer As Portland Overtakes Philly On Road

At Portland, Oregon:

The Portland Timbers came from behind to overtake the Philadelphia Union 3-1 on the road in Saturday Major League Soccer action.

Fanendo Adi successfully converted a penalty kick in the 88th minute for his 46th career goal, making him the Timbers' all-time leading goal scorer across all eras.

Darlington Nagbe (32') and Roy Miller (66') each added a goal to the Timbers' coffers.

Richie Marquez gave the Union a short-lived lead with his tally at 26 minutes.

Portland's next league match is next Saturday night at home against Sporting Kansas City at 7:30 PM Pacific Time and will be broadcast over the Timbers' television network, via KPDX, Portland-Vancouver.
