Obafemi Martins (6') and Brad Evans (PK-42') each scored a goal as the Seattle Sounders---playing in front of a club record 64,358 fans at CenturyLink Field---held off the visiting Portland Timbers 2-1 in a Sunday Major League Soccer contest that was also a Cascadia Cup clash.
Jack Jewsbury scored the Timbers' lone goal in the 58th minute.
