Ducks Break Open Tight Game, Run Away From Utes In SLC; Clinch Pac-12 North Title

At Salt Lake City, Utah:

Joe Walker returned Kaelin Clay's careless goal-line fumble 100 yards for a touchdown while quarterback Marcus Mariota three three TD passes and ran for another score on Saturday night as the Oregon Ducks (# 4 in the College Football Playoff rankings, #5 in both the Associated Press and USA Today/Coaches polls; 9-1 overall, 6-1 in Pac-12 play) broke open a tight game and outran the home-standing Utah Runnin' Utes (#17 CFP, #20 AP, #22 Coaches; 6-3, 3-3) 51-27 to lock up the Pacific-12 Conference's Northern Division title and a berth in the December 5 conference championship game, to be played at Santa Clara, California.
