Following their Saturday beatdown of visiting California, the Oregon Ducks remained ranked second in both the Associated Press (media) and USA Today/Coaches polls (with five first-place votes in the former, two in the latter), trailing only Alabama.
After their fourth straight win, a thorough clock-cleaning of visiting Colorado, the Oregon State Beavers finally regained some support in the Coaches' poll. The Beavers would be ranked #35.
