Ducks Overcome De'Anthony Thomas Injury, Rout Bears

At Eugene, Oregon:

Quarterback Marcus Mariota threw for two touchdowns and ran for another on Saturday as the Oregon Ducks (ranked #2 in both the Associated Press and USA Today/Coaches polls; 4-0 overall, 1-0 in Pac-12 conference play) overcame a leg injury suffered by De'Anthony Thomas who was returning the opening kickoff and blew out the visiting California Golden Bears (1-3, 0-1) 55-16 during a driving rain at Autzen Stadium.  It was the Pac-12 conference opener for both schools.
