Stanley Cup Playoffs: Flyers Top Devils In OT In Series Opener; Coyotes Take 2-0 Series Lead To Music City

The Stanley Cup Playoffs continued with two Sunday contests.


EASTERN CONFERENCE:


At Philadelphia:


The Philadelphia Flyers, thanks to Danny Briere's game winner (his second goal of the game) at 4:36 of overtime, defeated the visiting New Jersey Devils 4-3 in game one of their conference semifinal series.


WESTERN CONFERENCE:


At Glendale, Arizona:


Shane Doan, Radim Vrbata, and Antoine Vermette each scored a goal and had an assist as the Phoenix Coyotes took a two-games-to-none in their conference semifinal series following their 5-3 game-two home win over the Nashville Predators.
