NBA Playoffs: Thunder, Heat Take 2-0 Series Leads; Orlando Squares Series With Indiana

The NBA Playoffs continued with three Monday contests.


EASTERN CONFERENCE:


At Miami:


Dwayne Wade scored 25 points, Chris Bosh added 21, and LeBron James 19 as the Miami Heat took a two-games-to-none advantage over the New York Knicks in their conference quarterfinal series following their 104-94 home win in game two, despite 30 points from the Knicks' Carmelo Anthony.


At Indianapolis:


An 18-point, 10-rebound performance from Glen Davis helped power the Indiana Pacers to a first-round series-evening (at one game apiece) 93-78 game-two home win over the Orlando Magic.


WESTERN CONFERENCE:


At Oklahoma City:


Russell Westbrook scored 29 points while Kevin Durant added 26 as the Oklahoma City Thunder, helped along by near-perfect free-throw shooting (37 of 39 for 94.9%), held off the visiting Dallas Mavericks 102-99 for a two-games-to-none conference quarterfinal series lead, despite 31 points from the Mavericks' Dirk Nowitzki.
