NBA Playoffs: Bulls and Heat Take 3-0 Series Leads; Blazers Top Mavs To Cut Dallas Advantage To 2-1

The NBA Playoffs continued with three games on Thursday.


Eastern Conference:


At Indianapolis:


Derrick Rose scored 23 points, two of them on a go-ahead layup with 17.8 seconds remaining as the Chicago Bulls took a three-games-to-none lead in their conference quarterfinal series with a 88-84 game-three win on the road over the Indiana Pacers.


At Philadelphia:


Dwyane Wade scored 32 points and 10 rebounds while LeBron James added 24 and 15 in those respective catagories as the Miami Heat edged the Philadelphia 76ers 100-94 in game three of their opening-round series to lead their series three games to none.


Western Conference:


At Portland, Oregon:


Wesley Matthews scored 25 points as the Portland Trail Blazers defeated the visiting Dallas Mavericks 97-92 in game three of their first-round series to cut the Mavericks' series advantage to two games to one.
