And Now, Ladies and Gentlemen, Our Christmas Gift To You!

Yessir, folks, what can be more Christmassy than "Brothers United," the fifteenth and final chapter of our 1937 Republic Pictures Dick Tracy serial?

The serial starred Ralph Byrd in the title role with Kay Hughes, Smiley Burnette (best remembered as sidekick, or stooge, in many of Gene Autry's Republic and Columbia features), Lee Van Atta, John Piccori, Carleton Young (who portrayed dope pusher Jack Perry in "Reefer Madness"), Fred Hamilton, and Francis X. Bushman.

Based on Chester Gould's comic strip, this 15-installment chapter play, with screenplay by Barry Shipman and Winston Miller plus story by Morgan Cox and George Morgan, was produced by Nat Levine and directed by Ray Taylor and Alan James.

Enjoy!
