Here's one from PRC Pictures (Producers Releasing Corporation) dating back to 1944, "Dixie Jamboree," which stars Frances Langford and Guy Kibbee. This flick was produced by Jack Schwarz and directed by Christy Cabanne with screenplay by Sam Neuman based on Lawrence E. Taylor's original story.
