At St. Petersburg, Florida:

Cliff Lee put together another impressive performance Tuesday night as he pitched a complete game, holding the Tampa Bay Rays to six hits as the Texas Rangers won the fifth and deciding game of their American League divisional playoff series 5-1.  The Rangers won a playoff series for the first time in their 50-year history, a series which became the first in Major League Baseball postseason history in which the road team won every game.

The Rangers will open up the American League Championship Series against the New York Yankees at home on Friday night at Arlington, Texas, with the second game slated for Saturday afternoon.
