The Chicago Rush (5-5), who scored six touchdowns on the ground (two of them by J.J. Payne, who ran for 28 yards), scored the most points by a single team in an Arena Football League contest this season with their 84-48 Saturday road man-handling of the hapless New Orleans VooDoo (1-8), who have now lost eight straight games. Their plight was not helped by six turnovers (three interceptions and three fumbles) and the loss of starting quarterback Kurt Rocco to a third-quarter knee injury.

Turnovers Help Sink VooDoo
At Chicago:
Despite leading in every major statistical category, five costly turnovers cost the New Orleans VooDoo (1-6) dearly as they fell on the road Saturday night 50-28 in Arena Football League action to the Chicago Rush (5-2).
