Super Bowl V

The Baltimore Colts, in a battle of two pre-merger NFL teams, edged the Dallas Cowboys in a game plagued by 11 turnovers.

It was the first Super Bowl to be contested on artificial turf.

The New York Jets gained the AFL its' first Super Bowl title by knocking off the Baltimore Colts 16-7.
