Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner Justify (shown here) led wire-to-wire and won Saturday's 150th running of the Belmont Stakes and became the 13th horse to win the coveted Triple Crown.Gronkowski finished second and Hofburg finished third.
Mike Smith, at age 52, became the oldest jockey to win the Triple Crown.
Trainer Bob Baffert won his second Triple Crown (to go with American Pharoah's 2015 triumph), becoming the second trainer to do so.
Justify became the second horse to go undefeated en route to the Triple Crown title (Seattle Slew, 1977).
