At Kansas City, Kansas:
Daniel Salloi's equalizer in the 60th minute on Saturday lifted Sporting Kansas City to a 1-1 Major League Soccer home draw with the Portland Timbers.
Sporting stretched their home unbeaten streak to a club-record 18 games.
Diego Valeri scored for the Timbers in the 26th minute, only to see his penalty kick in the 74th minute, which would be put Portland back in front, saved by Kansas City's Tim Melia.
The Timbers will host the Chicago Fire at 7:30 PM Pacific Time back home in Portland on Wednesday night, to be broadcast over the Portland Timbers television network (via KPDX-TV, Portland-Vancouver).
