In the lone Sunday Major League Soccer contest, Lee Nguyen's equalizer in the 84th minute lifted the New England Revolution to a 1-1 road draw with the Portland Timbers.
Diego Valeri scored for the Timbers in the 12th minute on a beautifully-executed goal.
Portland will pay a visit on the Philadelphia Union for a contest this coming Saturday at Chester, Pennsylvania at 4:00 PM Pacific Time (ROOT Sports Northwest).
