Joel Berry II (named tournament Most Outstanding Player) scored 22 points on Monday night as the North Carolina Tar Heels (#1 in the South Region; 33-7) outlasted the Gonzaga Bulldogs (#1 in the West Region; 37-2) 71-65 to win their sixth NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament championship, the third under head coach Roy Williams.
