NBA Playoffs: Cavs, Spurs Stretch Respective Series Leads To 2-0

Two games in the NBA Playoffs were contested on Monday.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Cleveland:

Kyrie Irving scored 37 points while Kevin Love added 27 (to go with his 11 rebounds) and LeBron James contributed 25 (to go with his 10 rebounds) as the Cleveland Cavaliers held off the visiting Indiana Pacers 117-111 in game two of their conference quarterfinal series, which Cleveland now leads two games to none.

Paul George paced Indiana with 32 points while Jeff Teague added 23.

WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At San Antonio, Texas:

Kawhi Leonard scored a playoff-career high 37 points and grabbed 11 rebounds as the San Antonio Spurs extended their conference quarterfinal series lead to two games to none following their 96-82 game-two home win over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Mike Conley paced the Grizzlies with 24 points.
