In the final College Football Playoff regular-season rankings that were released on Tuesday, Alabama remained in the #1 slot, with Ohio State remaining at #2. Clemson climbed up to third (up one spot from last week) and Washington re-joined the top four at the number four slot (up one).
With their defeat at the hands of Ohio State, Michigan dropped to number five (down two spots).
Wisconsin and Penn State remained at #6 and #7, respectively.
Other Pac-12 teams in the rankings include Colorado at #8 (up one spot), Southern California at #11 (up one), and Utah at #20 (up two).
Washington State, which was ranked last week at #23, dropped out of the rankings after their Friday one-sided Apple Cup defeat at home at the hands of Washington.
