After their season-opening win over Army West Point, the Oregon Ducks climb up a spot in both the Associated Press and USA Today/Coaches men's college basketball polls to #4. The Ducks received one first-place vote in the Coaches' rankings.
Despite a 2-0 start (with wins over Prairie View A&M and UTSA), the Oregon State Beavers, along with the Portland Pilots and Portland State Vikings, received no support in either poll.
