Beavers Fall On Road To Cardinal; Stanford Gains Bowl Eligibility (Now Out Of Reach For Oregon State)

At Palo Alto, California:

Christian McCafferty for 199 yards and a touchdown while Bryce Love ran 56 yards for another score on Saturday as the Stanford Cardinal (6-3 overall, 4-3 in Pac-12 play) assured themselves of bowl eligibility with a 26-15 victory over the visiting Oregon State Beavers (2-7, 1-5).  The Beavers assured themselves of a third successive season without a post-season appearance.

The Cardinal were also helped by placekicker Conrad Ukropina who kicked a career-high four field goals (including a career-long-equaling 52-yarder).
