NBA Playoffs: Knicks, Pacers Advance To Face Each Other In Second Round; Thunder And Clippers Advance, Will Face Each Other, Too

The NBA Playoffs continued on Friday with four games.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Boston:

Carmelo Anthony scored 21 points as the New York Knicks won a playoff series for the first time since 2000, holding off the Boston Celtics 88-80 on the road to wrap up their opening-round series four games to two.

At Atlanta:

George Hill and David West each scored 21 points as the Indiana Pacers held off an Atlanta Hawks comeback for a 81-73 series-clinching road victory as the Pacers eliminate the Hawks four games to two.  

The Knicks and Pacers will face each other in an Eastern Conference semifinal series, which will open up in New York on Sunday.

WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Houston:

Kevin Durant scored 27 points and Kevin Martin added 25 as the Oklahoma City Thunder finally finished off the Houston Rockets with their 103-94 road victory in game six of their conference quarterfinal series, which the Thunder won four games to two.

At Memphis:

Zach Randolph and Mike Conley each scored 23 points as the Memphis Grizzlies won their fourth straight game against the Los Angeles Clippers 118-105 as the Grizzlies wrapped up their first-round series four games to two.

The Thunder and Grizzlies will face each other in a Western Conference semifinal series, which will open at Oklahoma City on Sunday.
