Grey Cup Playoffs: Ti-Cats, Bombers (Who Knock Off Riders In Regina Again) Advance To Final

The Grey Cup Playoffs continued on Sunday with both divisional finals.

EASTERN DIVISION FINAL:

At Hamilton, Ontario:

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats dominated the visiting Edmonton Eskimos 36-16 in the Eastern Division Final to advance to the 107th Grey Cup Final (their first since 2014).

Quarterback Dane Evans completed 21 of 36 passes for 386 yards and a touchdown to lead the TiCats.



WESTERN DIVISION FINAL:

At Regina, Saskatchewan:

Quarterback Zach Collaros led a 107-yard touchdown-scoring drive while Justin Medlock kicked four field goals as the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, helped by a big goal-line stand late in the fourth quarter, knocked off the Saskatchewan Roughriders 20-13 on the road in the Western Division Final.

Winnipeg will be playing in its' first Grey Cup Final since 2011.

Last year, the Bombers knocked off the Riders in Regina in the Western Divisional semifinal.



Next Sunday, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Winnipeg Blue Bombers will play in the 107th Grey Cup Final at Calgary, Alberta (3:00 PM Pacific Time, ESPN 2 in the United States).
