Max Borghi scored the game-winning touchdown with two second remaining as the Washington State Cougars (6-5 overall, 3-5 in Pac-12 play) upended the visiting Oregon State Beavers (5-6, 4-4) 54-53 in a wild high-scoring affair on Saturday to gain bowl eligibility.
The Beavers must defeat the Oregon Ducks on the road in Saturday's Civil War Game to gain bowl eligibility for the first time since 2013.
