After a slow start, quarterback Justin Herbert completed 21 of 25 passes for 225 yards and three touchdowns on Saturday night as the Oregon Ducks (#7 AP, #8 Coaches; 8-1 overall, 6-0 overall) engineered runs of 21 and 35 unanswered points en route to a 56-24 road demolition of the Southern California Trojans (5-4, 4-2) to stay alive for a shot at a berth in the upcoming College Football Playoff.
The victory was the eighth straight for the Ducks.
