At Portland, Oregon:
Jonathan Lewis (28') and Sam Nicholson (76') each scored once on Saturday as the Colorado Rapids gained a 2-2 Major League Soccer draw on the road with the Portland Timbers.
The Timbers' tallies came courtesy of Tommy Smith (OG-26') and Diego Valeri (PK-63').
The Timbers were reduced to ten men after Julio Cascante was ejected through the red card in the 55th minute.
Next up for Portland, a nationally-televised home encounter with Orlando City on Thursday at 7:00 PM Pacific Time (ESPN).
