NBA Playoffs: Cavs Grab Hard-Fought Series-Opening Road Win Over Raptors; Warrios, With Steph Back, Stretch Series Lead Over Pelicans To 2-0

Two games were contested on Tuesday in the NBA Playoffs.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Toronto:

LeBron James scored 26 points while grabbing 11 rebounds and dishing out 13 assists as the Cleveland Cavaliers knocked off the Toronto Raptors 113-112 in overtime on the road in the opening contest of their conference semifinal series.

J.R. Smith added 20 points to the Cavs' coffers.

DeMar DeRozan topped the Raptors with 22 points while Jonas Valanciunas added 21 (to go with his 21 rebounds).



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Oakland, California:

Kevin Durant scored 29 points while Stephen Curry added 28 off the bench as the Golden State Warriors stretched their lead in their conference semifinal series with the New Orleans Pelicans to two games to none following their 121-116 game-two home triumph.

Draymond Green helped the Warriors' cause by scoring 20 points while dishing out 12 assists and grabbing nine rebounds.

Anthony Davis scored 25 points to pace the Pelicans while grabbing 15 rebounds, while Jrue Holiday added 24 and Rajon Rondo 22 (to go with his 12 assists).
