Ducks Avenge Last Year's Defeat, Bury Beavers In Civil War Mismatch

At Eugene, Oregon:

Running back Royce Freeman ran for 122 yards and two touchdowns on Saturday to become the Pac-12 Conference's all time leader in rushing TDs (60) while Justin Herbert threw for 251 yards and three more scores (while running for a score himself) as the Oregon Ducks (7-5 overall, 4-5 in Pac-12 play), in avenging their 2016 defeat, destroyed the visiting Oregon State Beavers (1-11, 0-9) 69-10 in the 121st Civil War Game.

The Ducks appeared headed for a bowl game yet to be determined, while the Beavers (whose only win came against FCS school Portland State---who recently finished an 0-11 campaign) went through their second winless season in conference play in the last three years and are now in search of a new head football coach.
