George Springer---named series Most Valuable Player----hit a double and then his fifth home run of this year's World Series while Charlie Morton pitched three perfect innings to get the victory on Wednesday as the Houston Astros defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-1 in game seven of the Fall Classic and won the first world championship in their 56-year history.
