In the regular-season opener for both schools, true freshman quarterback threw a pair of touchdown passes, one of them, a 44-yarder to Jordan Villamin in the fourth quarter as the Oregon State Beavers, in Gary Andersen's debut as their new head football coach, defeated the visiting Weber State Wildcats 26-7.
