Vincent Nogueira scored twice (71', 82') and Andrew Wenger once (69') on Saturday as the Philadelphia Union erupted in the second half to dominate the visiting Portland Timbers 3-0 in Major League Soccer action. Cristian Maidana assisted on all three goals.
Next Saturday, the Timbers will host the Vancouver Whitecaps in a Cascadia Cup clash (7:30 PM, Pacific Time, ROOT Sports Northwest).
