Mary Healy, an actress and singer who was half of a long-time show business partnership with husband Peter Lind Hayes, passed away on Tuesday at Calabasas, California at age 96.
Mr. Hayes, a movie actor and Broadway, nightclub, and television comedian and the New Orleans-born Miss Healy, who he married in 1940, appeared in two early TV variety shows, The Peter Lind Hayes Show on NBC and Star of the Family on CBS.
Peter and Mary starred in the 1958 Broadway farce Who Was That Lady I Saw You With?" which ran for 26 weeks.
In 1960, the twosome starred in the sitcom Peter Loves Mary, which was about show-business personalities struggling with life in the suburbs.
Peter passed away in 1998.
