Let's Go To The Movies

Welcome to another Saturday at the Movies.

Let's start with Hashimoto, the Japanese House Mouse in "Night Life In Tokyo," a 1961 Terrytoons cartoon originally released in CinemaScope by 20th Century Fox.  In this one, our hero and his American friend, G. I. Joe, get to sample the night life in the Japanese capital and get more than what they bargained for.  With story by West Coast veterans Al Bertino and Dick Kinney, story supervision by studio veteran Tommy Morrison, animation by Ed Donnelly, Juan Guidi, and Armand Guidi, design by John Zago, backgrounds by Bill Hilliker, music by Phil Scheib, and voice characterizations by John Myhers, this cartoon, produced in New Rochelle, New York with Bill Weiss as executive producer and Frank Schudde as production manager, was directed by longtime veteran Mannie Davis.

Next, we bring you a 1938 Education Pictures short subject comedy with Willie Howard starring (as Professor Pierre Ginsbairge) in "Pardon My Accident," which was originally released through 20th Century Fox.  This short was produced by Al Christie, written by Billy K. Wells, and photographed by George Webber.
