Ed Wynn Matches Wits With The Three Stooges

Here's a 1950 CBS Network telecast of The Ed Wynn Show as Ed is joined by The Three Stooges (Moe and Shemp Howard and Larry Fine) and singer Helen Forrest, as well as a cameo appearance by TV's future Fred Mertz and "Bub" O'Casey himself, William Frawley.  Complete with original Camel Cigarettes commercials.  Aired live in Los Angeles and other coaxal cable-connect West Coast stations and shown on kinescope to the Eastern and Central time zones.

Time For A Visit With Curly, Larry, and Moe!

From 1935, here are The Three Stooges starring in the Columbia Pictures short, "Three Little Beers."  In this one, the boys are supposed to be making beer deliveries.  When they arrive at a golf course to deliver the adult beverage, they decide to play a round of golf instead.  With screenplay and story by Clyde Bruckman, this short was produced by Jules White and directed by Del Lord.

The Three Stooges Join Ed Wynn

It's time for an episode of The Ed Wynn Show.  Ed's guests are The Three Stooges (Shemp Howard, Larry Fine, and Shemp's brother, Moe Howard), singer Helen Forrest, with a cameo by TV's future Fred Mertz himself, William Frawley.  





The show originally aired live on CBS Television on March 11, 1950 and aired on the West Coast.  Eastern and Central Time Zone viewers saw a kinescope of the telecast on March 25 of that year.  The episode is complete with commercials for Camel Cigarettes.
